Hi my name is connell and i am going to tell you about my awesome class room 6.
we are really good at swmming. In a thew days we are going to be going to ocean spa
for chapion ship swmming.
We also in injoy reading the books we read is diary of a wimpy kid and Michael Morpurgo.
Wae a really good at sports such as cricet and rugby. We really like playing out side and going on the bottom felid. we like maths and writing our class is fery good at sports. We have been haveing people from Hawks bay criket to teach us some skills. It is very fun we have do.

Almost my birthday!!

I can't believe it is almost my birthday. Time went so fast. I'm getting my ears pierced yay I'm getting it done with my nana. I get lots of presents. Me and my friends are going to Splash Planet (I went there twice in the holidays) and its a slumber party . I can't wait till its my birthday. Its gonna be fun I hope. Riley

The best start of the year yet

It has been a great start to the year in room 6 and there are three new names to remember. I already can't believe how much more I have learnt. We have done lots of art and things all about us and I have learnt heaps more about other people. Some things I am looking forward to are camp, swimming sports and that's not too far away, cross country and lots more. I know i will have a great year in room six meeting lots of new friends and having fun.

It has been a great start to the year in room 6 because I am looking foward to be a year 6.I am excited about swimming sports,camp and sports.Over the holidays I went to taupo and I tried ice skating it was hard but really fun.We also swam in the lake which has a pontoon which is something you swim out to then dive off. I had an awesome holiday.

Rotorua

Hello I'm going to talk about my trip to Rotorua. it took three hours to get there and when we got there we went straight to our hotel the Novetel a 4 star hotel with a really cool pool that was thirty degrees it was sooooooooo warm and two thermal spas and a sauna the bad thing about the pool is that it STUNK !!! because of the thermal spas. the reason we went to Rotorua is because of my brothers rowing regata so we spent some of the time watching his rowing so i played on the playground with my friend Caitlin she was there because of her brother Alex so we hung out together on the second day we went on the luge which was really exciting because I had never been on it before so that was really fun except for the part on the master ride there was a masive hill going down so we had to get off an wheel it down it was really hard to not let it go but we got there then at night we went out to a restaurant and Caitlin and I shared a pizza and a boal of chips it was SOOOO good then we had a ice cream from a nice icecream shop that sold so many flavours it was amazing.

On boxing day I went to the river with my mum, dad, nana, gran, papa, sisters, cousins and my cousins cousins. We went to the Eskdale River I like to bomb in to the water from our bombing spot in the deep end. Its fun I bomb from up very high. We played a game of cricket I was against Carys so of course she would need dad with her (because she is 4 but she was good!) . In the end I had fun and a yummy lunch but most of all I liked seeing Macy.

Its been a great start to the term so far. We have had some new kids in our class. We have a excellent teacher Miss Cuthbert. We have had some cricket coaching with Inda and Luke it was really fun. We are looking forward to camp this year.We have also started swimming for the term ( its really cold ) and are also looking forward to the swimming sports and the start of the cricket and soccer season. We are also looking forward to athletics and the cross country.

NCS is so awesome. There are so many places to play and always a place to go if you want to think.This new year has had a great start to it.There have been many new kids. I'm really looking forward to swimming sports,cross country,athletics and last but least !!!CAMP!!!.

This year I'm in room 06 with Miss Cuthbert. I do choir and I love it. I love learning and my favourite subjects are reading, writing, maths and art. my favourite sports are hockey and table tennis.

So far I have had a great time with my new class and we are having a great time. Today we had cricket coaching with some cricket coaches from hawkes bay cricket. We have started swimming already it is so cold. I am so looking forward to camp!!! and the cricket games on Saturday we have got a new coach. I promise myself that I will have a good time for my last year at school.

It's been great starting a new year at Napier Central School. There's 3 new kids in our class. My teacher is Miss Cuthbert. I'm in room 6 and I'm a year 6. And there's so many things to catch up on. I'm really looking to swimming sports athletics,Cross Country and most of all CAMP!!!. We have started swimming again in the morning its really cold. We also have started cricket with Inda and Luke they come from Hawkes Bay Cricket. My favourite subjects at school is reading,maths and art.

During the holidays I went to Ocean Beach. We were staying at my mum's friends bach.We walked a dog called Jake and went and got an icecream . I let Jake eat my cone. When we got back I ate a whole tub of cherries I wasn't hungry after that but my mum shoved a sandwich down my throat I didn't feel very well after that so I spun around and around until I felt sick., then read a book. Naughty Jake charged in and tryed to get in my lap OW! Because Jake is a bordercollie +blue healer he was so heavy. So I went home with a few sraches on my legs but atleast I had some laughs.
